At our birthday party on September 16, many of you suggested we should get together every year. We agreed. Next year’s event will be Saturday September 14.
Thanks to the generosity of one of our classmates, Marlene Carlsen Schoeneck, the event will be held at The Sedona of Rockford. Marlene owns this wonderful facility and has graciously offered it to us at no charge next year. Besides the use of the facility, Marlene is offering complimentary accommodations for out-of-state guests for two nights, September 13 and 14, 2024. Please make arrangements to stay directly with Marlene at 815-289-5945. We suggest you contact Marlene as soon as possible if you would like to stay. It will be on a first come, first served basis.
On top of that, Marlene will provide the food!
On the main level are two bedrooms, each with queen beds. In the Master Suite upstairs, there’s a Queen bed and two twin sleeper sofas. In the lowest level, there are two twin beds. The house also has three full bathrooms.
